I only use bottled water for mixing photographic film development chemicals now

A bottle of water I bought from Woollies years ago had a strange fungus growing in it, the bottle was sitting around for days before ready for drinking, when new the water looked ok but the "fungus" grew and was quite visible after a while. I took it back to Woollies for a refund

Would fungus have vitamin B12?

If so, what you had there was a bottle of Vitamin & Mineral Water.

You're an Australian, though.

Do you, as an Australian, object to the US Open using Jacob's Creek as an official sponsor?

You object to the Australian Open using foreign sponsorship, so surely you object to other countries doing it too.

What's that saying?

Oh yes, I remember: "what's good for the goose is good for the gander".

I already answered that gweggy...

Really?

Being Australian I don't see the need to sponsor another country's events.  Plenty of Australian events need sponsorship.

As for the question...  it seems Patriotism and Nationalism are terms many confuse.

Here is one explanation.

"Patriotism" is an attachment to or a love for a particular country. "Nationalism" can be the same sort of enthusiasm for a state or country, but it can extend into loyalty to the state. "Jingoism" is a tendency to justify unfairness and bad behavior with nationalist excuses.

Here's another explanation:

"idiot: an utterly foolish or senseless person".

More likely he felt a borderless world is a better option Brian

But a patriot will defend their bordered country even if it's chock full of multiculturalists, lefty traitors, homosexuals, muslims and SBS international nutters

patriot |ˈpātrēət|

1 a person who vigorously supports their country and is prepared to defend it against enemies or detractors.

but the water on sale at the nation’s premier sporting event is decidedly unpatriotic.

It does not say anywhere what water is sold at the Boxing day test, it seems to be about a tennis game. ???

of course I understand that phil..

but is it acceptable????....

can you see China selling aussie water at their international events...

I am buggered if I can...

water would be a huge seller at the AUst Open.... to me its the pits...because you can bet your dollar no other water is allowed to be sold...part of the contract.

and who drags loads of water into a day long event...you dont you buy it on site.

\this ,isnt about sponsoring  any bloody thing..

its about WATER DRINKING WATER COMING FROM A FOREIGN COUNTRY>
....

Okay, then.

In that case, yes : it is a bit strange.

I'll agree with you on that.

One thing's for sure, if you hadn't heard of G***** Water before you certainly have now.

Thanks to ACA, they're receiving millions of dollars worth of free advertising.

And that makes absolutely no difference to me I won't be buying the shyte.

Sponsorship deals with foreign companies for certain products isn't in question.

What's in question is water from China when so many warnings are out there about the dangers of foodstuffs from China & other Asian countries.

The baby formula is just one example.

Tennis Australia are sell outs.

And as for using Aussie wines & the US Open as a counter you're off beam.

I would put my trust in our wine or US wine or vice versa on any products made in both before I would ever trust Chinese foodstuffs.
