Legumes.

Healthy and simple village Greek and Italian food.

We Mediterraneans make dips, soups, salads, stews etc out of different beans and peas and veges.

However we mix through lots of fresh herbs through it like fresh coriander/mint/parsley/basil/oregano/rosemary etc.

I grow all these herbs in my FRONT garden under our windows in garden beds near our pathway.

NB For the benefit of any Anglo/Celts/Saxons etc who may be reading this....growing all your herbs in the FRONT garden near the entrance is typical of traditional Mediterranean gardens...as it's a way of blessing your visitors with their healthy fragrance as they walk up your garden path to your front door.
