So we are still at square one where those on FTTN cant get the speed plan they paid for why is that Grendel

posted plenty of info...  go back and actually read it.

Distance and copper - nothing else.

I have 100/40 fttp and hope everyone else will get the sane connection.

Nbn are changing the cvc equation but the mtm is a failure.

12 month delays on hfc haven’t helped either - as has the 250,000 hfc and fttn service class 0 premises.

The lnp stuffed it

How many times and how many ways do you need to be told how wrong you are.

Experts agree with me.
No one has said the technology has no impact.

But they agree with me about the major causes.

Which experts?

None of what you’ve posted is factual, it’s all partisan b.s.

Look at nbns own financial report - it shows what a train wreck it is.

no one who is involved in designing networks or understands the technology supports fttn or hfc.

Next you’ll be saying 5g outdated fttp - when anyone with any technical knowledge knows it needs a fibre network to work properly.

How can the rollout for hfc be faster when no connections are being added???

What section of I.t do you work in?

The hfc network sure is working out for us.....

The way people whinge about the NBN, I must be the only Australian happy with the way NBN has worked for me. I get a Terabyte of downloads per month. Not that I could use up the 200GB of downloads I was allowed before the upgrade. I now have access to the home wifi. Before then, I was given the 500MB per month on my mobile.

Considering how I was only allowed a 1GB download limit for my dialup in 2006, I am very happy with how things are going with my internet usage. Movies, games, forums, etc. I think Telstra has done well.

I'm not in denial - and you still haven't answered my question.

What type of i.t specialist are you?

What do you think about the 250,000 service class 0 fttn/hfc properties?

What do you think about the 9-12 month hfc delay?

What do you think about the fact fttn/hfc both have double the opex and only have 1/3 of the revenue or less in some cases?

If technology is a factor, why wouldn't we spend money to future proof the network?
