I used to have an aversion to sultanas but not anymore. Although I buy the sultana-less ones for the kids I now know that you cannot truly appreciate a Hot Cross Bun without the sultanas.

oh I agree it is the fruit ones only for me.. I like the spice in them as well..

lucky me two whole months...

you can keep all the chocolate buns and eggs

we used to buy them fresh made on Good Friday back in England bet they cant do that anymore.....

even the smell is a thing of the past.. Cry

well I did buy some yesterday.. silly me went to Bakers Delight first [I had quite a bit of shopping to get]asked the guy for 6 hot crossies..... he fumbled around at one stage I thought he was going to spill the whole shelf....finally got my bag he has pulled them off one at a time....I thought later he may have had a counting problem... anyway by the time I got them home they were either flat or square...lolol.. I still ate them...

I dare anyone to stop me... I think they are smaller than usual...or am I just looking for more...
