The Usual Suspects.

All it took was for her to fall down so the dogs would be at the same eye-level as her, thus her normal height was no longer there to signify her authority over them.

Quote:

"Animal lover, 22, is mauled to death ... "

Next

"It's believed that the dogs had been bred for fighting."

Helloooooooooo? Anybody hooooooooome?

Not the dogs' fault, it's the halfwits who owned them.

People should be required to attend a suitable training course, which requires them to pass and be accredited BEFORE they are allowed dogs like this. Also, they should be prosecuted if they are found to use the dogs for fighting etc.

Wrong.

I'm tired of this old refrain.

It's the breed of dog, period ~ but Animal Welfare organisations receive so much in donations from the federated clubs of dangerous dog-owners and breeders that they're cowed into silence.

True

Those breeds should be banned!

Dog that killed Canberra woman was 'her best friend', but known to be dangerous
Sherryn Groch

    Sherryn Groch

A woman killed by her dog in her Canberra home had warned friends the animal was dangerous, but had refused to part with it as he had "taken a bullet" for her during a violent home invasion earlier this year.

In text messages sent this month to a close friend, Tania Klemke described the dog, which is understood to be similar to a pit bull, as her "best friend".

Well, she obviously felt more than great relief from the protection that it once offered her!

Nasty,... but some dogs are worth their weight in gold!

It's the breed.

How many people are mauled to death by the breed I have, a Sydney Silky?

Some of you Sob Sister women are so amazingly naive. It's why I would not have women in parliament, or on juries, or on Parole Boards.

Who do you think brought this dangerous breed of dog into his daughter's life? Who do you think desensitised his daughter to the spectacle of dogs ripping each other open so their owners could win bets?

Who do you think was ultimately responsible for her death?

(I'd make you an exception BO, Nicole .. etc)

Lets for argument say that all breeds have the same temperement and it's all nurture. (Total crap but lets just pretend for a sec).

If I turn my back for 30 seconds on my 6kg Silky while my baby is close by and it goes nuts, how much damage can it do in 30 seconds compared to a pitbull.

My silky could necessitate a trip to the ER for a stitch or 2. A pitbull could just about devour a baby in 30 seconds.

You know bugger-all about dogs you idiot, and your mate Herbie is a clown.

(There we are, Gordon. We've both been gagged as not worthy of being heard).
