Salmon is always good.
We had just salad, pork, chicken, seafood extender, prawns, beetroot, a few different 'slaws', garlic buns, cheesecake, pork cracklings. Basically a nice simple styled lunch of minimal complication.
I didn't eat a Prawn this year - but many seemed to make it the focus of the meal.
I think the prawn thing is becoming a bit too over the top and with $50 a kilo in some places, well.  Tongue

I've never had Trout.
But I did see one swimming 'up' a water-running street 'gutter' in Queenstown NZ.  Shocked

Used to catch trout (rainbow) in Burrunjuck Dam many years ago, then race back to the cottage and cook them.

Post Christmas today - plum pudding (Aldi) & ice cream (Aldi).
Got to cut up the remains of the ham.this afternoon, that's after doing some mowing, carting rubbish away, doing a couple of loads of washing - I'm buggered, it's 35 today.
