Sunday (today during the day) we have the start of the heatwave forecasted. Yesterday (Saturday) we had 35 degrees. I put the air con on for the afternoon and evening, whilst I wasted another night playing computer games. It might get brutal on Tuesday. Maps forecast an "extreme heatwave" that day. I will only consider an extreme heatwave starting the moment the temperature gets to over 43 degrees. A "severe heatwave" I can believe at 39 degrees or above. And I won't consider it either if there is not more than 2 days in a row over 39 degrees Celsius.

Plenty of things to see and do out that way, the scenery is breathtaking, here is a happy snap in the wet season and if you look closely you can see a puddle!

I seem to be handling the heat at the moment. Got home at 4pm and the thermometre was reading 41 degrees. I have the airconditioner going right now.

well the weather is cooling down and march is halfway through- he how weather all but gone and now looking ahead to the winter from hell ( hopefully)- I love winter and so I am ready- so I have my winter woollies all sorted out- fashions on the field will be a thing this year-

I need 2 new jackets including a puffy jacket to insulate me from the cold- I am rather fashionable so I do like to keep up with trends (  to a point)

Pictures of the last time it snowed in Adelaide Hills- hope it get much deeper this year- but this looks very fresh

19th of April and 36c here today - fricking ridiculous- just now I looked out to the sky beyond my back fence and big front of hot dust swirling branches and leaves swirling and crashing and then it hIt- a wall of heavy rain- just pelting down cooling the earth down by degrees very quickly- retreating thunder echoed off into the distance and with that it was gone- it only lasted about 10 minutes and my rain water tank was replenished and the my car washed of its dusty mantle-  the smell of rain on hot dust my fave smell in the whole world - assaulted my senses and I was transported-

Weather- you can't beat it- better than anything else and it's free

Quote:
Australians should expect hot weather well into April before being hit with one of the coldest winters on record, expert weather forecaster David Taylor has revealed.

Mr Taylor told Daily Mail Australia on Wednesday that the nation is in for six more weeks of hot summer-like temperatures before a short autumn season.

After this he warns 'winter will kick in viciously' with the coldest temperatures seen for many years.
