Poster of the Week Award!
Nov 6th, 2017 at 1:24pm

In follow-thru of a recent good run of discussions this past number of weeks.
I wish to add a
'Poster of the Week'
award
Smiley

The 'Smiley' goes to
PZ547

It's not the end result of one's opinion, wether right or wrong.
But a measure of a good informative, well written, expressed topically and more.
in the Post.

Of course not. It's just a coincidence that you happen to agree with posts  Wink

i think you are probably a bit smarter then "fat steve" bojack.
see fat steve wouldnt even understand stuff like the "narrow road to success" or "its not what you get, its what you become".
he is a total durrr.

but there is a glimmer of recognition in you that i am right.
but if you acknowledge it, you will have to undergo a lot of change and your subconscious likes to keep things stable, so you "react" most aggressively towards it.

i always find the most aggressive people who push back against the 'personal responsibility" and "self development" stuff are those who know they should be doing it but arent. because that really stings.

fat steve doesnt get stung. you will never get thru to him except if a total bloody catastrophe happens.
but there is some hope for you.
you could possibly ease yourself into it.
what would you have to lose  Wink

I do enjoy your posts Bojack and you to Barnacle.
You do have a good head on your shoulders Bojack, it shows in your posts.
But there are many types of 'thinking'.
Take 'education system' for one thing.
There are the boys who attend Kings and get the path of success laid out for them. All that they have to do is not think for themselves and just follow the path (rules/discipline) and they will succeed.
Then there are the boys which attend a school that is just a day care facility for lack of funds. These boys need more than that and thus they go out and cut their own path by making mistakes (for want of doing nothing at all).
When the path runs out, the boys from Kings just stand there at its end waiting for someone to continue the path for them, while the other boys just cut ahead clearing a path for themselves regardless if it is in the right direction or not.
Both are right. Both have advantages and disadvantages.
And that's just two examples.

Anyway, I'm waffling. What do I know. I'm just a labourer.  Wink
