256gig SSD, 8 gig RAM, Core i5

Microsoft Surface Laptop $1998

I've got a feeling it's a Microsoft rip-off.

Know the enemies of a civil society by their public behaviour, by their fraudulent claim to be liberal-progressive, by their propensity to lie and, above all, by their attachment to authoritarianism.

That is an ok price for a surface, they are not cheap.

If the other alternatives are better value is a valid question.

One warning if you get a surface and intend to use multiple monitors get an aftermarket docking station the Microsoft one is hopeless.

On top of the price you will need a keyboard, probably.

I'll check that out. Since I've been looking around of course, my screen is constantly bombarded with ads for various computers.
