the hermetic teachings tell us that you MUST contribute first before the universe will give back to you.

here was an excellent opportunity for the aborigines to , in a spirit of contribution and sharing, give back to the rest of australia as a way of "raising the vibration".

if i was an aboriginal elder at uluru , i would be urging my kin to vibe with the white tourists, show them a good time, have a laugh and a joke as they climbed uluru , hand in hand. helping each other to break down the barriers and share a unique cultural experience.

i would be teaching the young aboriginal men about good posture, to stand tall, to smile, to have a firm handshake as they greeted the tourists, to feel proud, strong and have a purpose in life...to inspire the white man to get back in touch with nature.

so many many opportunities to move up.

and instead, lets sit around in our camp, lets not interact, lets get all butt hurt, lets resent the white man, lets hate on the white man, lets be suspicious of him and deny him our friendship....yeah, that should work  Sad Sad Sad

If one of your children told you they couldn't walk on part of your back yard because it was sacred and may offend the spirits, would you respect that or seek psychiatric help?

Laws change. Everything changes. Australia is changing. Why don't aborigines have to change?

Why can't tourists change?

It's not as if FD's a regular Ularu climber.

Who own's your mum's house, by the way? You haven't said.
Why are you interested in my mothers house? Do you want to stop people walking on the lawn or something?

No, I want to climb the roof. And given it's public housing, I believe I have every right to.

You?

The universe gave Ularu back to them, Aquascoot. That's what FD's so cranky about.

If one of my Boongs did that, Gordon, I'd respect it, just as I respect the local customs every time I travel.

Wouldn't you?

You're free to look under my burqa anytime you want, Homo. I am public property, after all.

Unlike Ularu, it would seem. So unfair - in so many countless and unknowable ways.

I wouldn't care if it wasn't such an interesting natural monument . It should be shared. Nature should be shared. I'm sick of fences and keep out signs. They are everywhere. It's a pity. Everybody is blocking out their patch. That's all it is. The Uluru aborigines would block it all out if their wasn't a buck in it.

What are you on about? The Boongs let us use it as a national park. The only fences are there to keep out dingos.

So wacist, I know. The dirty Boongs should fence themselves out. How would you feel about a gate and a sign, Homo?

WHITES ONLY.

FD's already pushing for this. It's the source of his whole "sustainability" thing.

You?

Read Mabo.

Mabo did not grant extra rights to aboriginal people Aussie.

Will Mabo tell me whether you support legislated racism? Do you only support the law if it is the law?

What race were the landowners prior to the Leyland Brothers, FD?

Don't answer that. Wacist.

Here you are contradicting yourself again Karamel ...

They were never land "owners".

They lived on and off the land ..they believe they belong to the land ..... though the way some aboriginals treat it you could say that's bs as well.

that's right FD ... it instead recognised traditional ownership

if wouldn't have mattered if the Anunga group were swedish, chinese, aboriginal, mexican, russian, english, black , green, pink or white .... they have rights over ayers rock because they were deemed the traditional owners.

NOTHING TO DO WITH RACE

So the process was the same as Mabo?

Effendi.....did you need a permit to access Frazer Island?

Like I just said Aussie, no. But don't let that stop you getting to the point.

Really?  Did you and your mates walk when you got there, or drive a car?

Like I said Aussie, don't let my personal circumstances stop you getting to the point.

You actually do need a permit to access Fraser(with an "s") Island.

This is an ambent claim to try to push the boundaries further along the way to total control over whatever they want - that's the way of the feminists and of governments - push and push like children to see how far they can go, and it's time to start saying NO in many spheres of society in this nation.

You wanna close Ayers Rock?  Ask the Australian people..... WE own it as  a national treasure.

Plebiscite.

Get with the program here....

who refuses to accept it?  And since when did the high court ask the australian people anything  before making a decision?

The Mabo case found a form of traditional, or native, title, Gonads. There are clear tribal and linguistic borders throughout Australia. They weren't an agrarian society, but a hunter-gatherer one. Their land use was different to Whitey's and the Chows, but just as "owned".

This is Australian law. There's no disputing it.

And a permit to access Arnhem Land which effectively fences off a huge part of Australia.
