That many of you have no idea how to cook rice correctly?

One word-

Rinse.

Than repeatedly.

I use those 40 sec in a microwave pots...  cooks perfect every time....even brown rice.. yum!

Rinsing uncooked rice does remove surface starch and helps the cooked product to be less sticky.

You also need to drain it properly    Smiley

I used to work for Sunrice (Riverina).
Still, I only know how to use a 90sec microwave packet.
I'm so lazy when it comes to cooking.

Mind you - I enjoy doing the dishes and washing up, etc.
