ISLAM is not the sickness.

ISLAM is a symptom, of our sickness, imo.

The sickness is within us.

To our discomfort, the 'symptom' is 'expressed', and we usually despise the symptoms of our sicknesses.

If we had no sickness within us, we would not be suffering this despicable symptom.

In our own bodies;
If the 'terrain' provides safety and nurture to a harmful pathogen, then that harmful pathogen will greatly multiply.

And if it is a harmful pathogen, then if it greatly multiplies, then that harmful pathogen will probably be the cause of our early death.   !!

Google;
disease, "the pathogen is nothing; the terrain is everything"

What is the solution to this danger ?

Q.
How can any harmful pathogen within a persons body, be countered ?

A.
It CANNOT be countered,          by continuing to provide the harmful pathogen within the body,
with a safe and nurturing 'terrain'!

It is, imo, a surprisingly simple matter for us to [naively or ignorantly] foster, a life threatening cancer, within our body,
simply through having poor personal habits, of one kind, or another.

Quote:

The proper way to study disease is to study health and
every influence favorable or not to its continuance. Disease
is perverted health. Any influence that lowers nerve-energy
becomes disease-producing. Disease cannot be its own
cause; neither can it be its own cure, and certainly not its
own prevention.

Depends for what. I blame Islam for most of the atrocities committed in the last 20 years, but not all. Most especially the big ones like Nairobi, Madrid, Moscow, Paris, New York, Manchester, Mumbai, Bali, Orlando, Cannes, London, etc. Pretending these are not manifestations of Islam, is childish, and they love you for it.

I blame Islam for the Hideous Burqa, and all those other oppressive face and hair covering garments.
I also blame Islam for walking into a bollard which wasn't there the other day.

That bollard was there for road works, Matty. They're putting in trams. You should look where you're going.

I blame Islam.

its sort of undeniable that jesus, the buddha and confuscius were leaders who preached a peaceful message.

they never led armies or tried to convert by the sword.

Islam was based on a different first principle.
and lets not forget civil war broke out in islam the day of mohammeds death and it has been brutal and vicous and animalistic ever since

and if you read the stories of how sunni men treated shia women in moselle and ramadi....thats brutality at a whole new level. the rape of young boys and girls followed by them being burned alive in cages.

islam might just be a cuationary tale.

can you shed some light on the positive aspects of islam Karnal?

i think people are willing to listen. the west is very much in love with buddhism.
what are the aspects of islam that could also correspond to our spiritual growth ?
