It's probably not called that but no matter.

My grandson (12, I think) just cooked some shortbread this morning. All on his own, he didn't need to look anything up, he knew all the quantities, he just did it at school this week.

Beautiful it is. I'd give it a 7/10 on account it could have been a little thicker and less crisp.
But what would I know, I couldn't cook it.

good on him.... all kids should do cooking....just to show them they can...we used to make bread... it was awful but we still had to do it..lolol..

my grandson turned 13 at the weekend..is staying back after school one day a week to make wooden toys for charity...not sure which one...I am so proud of him.. he has never shown the slightest interest in making anything..I think this will be very rewarding for him...

arent we lucky sons of guns boges.? Smiley
