Grim Dawn atm but not a lot of time to play it. No hate steam its annoying and uses all your resources and crashes etc. Why pay for something you dont have to? I didnt play a game for over a year and steam deleted my account! Im not rebuying games.

If you want to have sex, you should go to these sexy   escort girls  in Nicosia  - escortnicosia.info . They offer a variety of services. They will also give an unforgettable impression. You will not get such  feeling after the game

Legend of Zelda, Raven loved those games. Although he is currently playing the new Assassin's Creed game. It's alright.

Raven did try his hand at beating the Super Mario speed run but sadly didn't even make the top hundred. More practice required.

Quoth the Raven "Nevermore"

Raven would rather ask questions that may never be answered, then accept answers which must never be questioned.

I loved the new Assassin's Creed.. then a week later, absolutely hated it.

Ubisoft's grubby strategy at making you "farm" in order to encourage you to buy "time saver packs" is absolutely deplorable. On principle I stopped playing, and traded my copy in.

Problem

I have a role playing game called "Rome: Total War". Recently, the game has been shutting down in mid play, usually during the campaign map, or just after a battle has finished. I can go a few hours of playing. But sometimes, the game just shuts down before I have a chance to save before shutting down my game manually. That means that I have to use autosaves to continue the game. But, even that makes it annoying to continue.

Any ideas on what is causing this to happen? I have a Windows 10 operating system.

The game was released in 2004. The older the game, the harder it is to run on Windows 10.

I tend to get all of my older games on the Gog platform, as Gog is usually better at ensuring that a game will work on all systems. I learnt this after buying some older games on Steam and having every single one of them crash on me because my OS and system specs are too advanced for them.

There may be a way to fix it. I would recommend visiting

If you game shuts down half way, etc.
It means your 'sound card' or something isn't compatible with what the game needs. You need to Steam a more compatible version.

I did a recovery and reinstalled the game on my computer. Now I am just having trouble playing a game with lower graphics and such. I did have a great game working beforehand with all the graphics at the highest settings, etc. Now it is all amateurish.

Most recent I was playing Alien Isolation with my daughter. little while ago now but we still re visit it occasionally.

The story line is Ripley's daughter goes looking to find out what happened to her mother, you can guess who she finds.
There was a big push for this to be the next Alien movie before the last one was done. (This would have been better).

The other main computer game project we had was the whole of the Myst series. Beautiful games. My daughter was young when we started this series.

Both are almost impossible.

Thank you for that. But I think you can just post the link address without needing to have it open the page. And I don't know why the site needs users to have 100 posts before we can post links. An anti-spam strategy, perhaps?

Ah! the Myst series ... loved those, some of the puzzles were very difficult to work out.

I'm replaying Half Life 2 at the moment, a gift from my son.

I like Sniper Elite 2, 3, 4 and 5 also. I prefer to take my time doing stealthy attacks in those.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein and later versions are a bit of fun.

Tomb Raider series are also some favorites, although the latest one is a bit buggy. (Shadow of the Tomb Raider). I liked Rise of the Tomb Raider and Tomb Raider "reboot" better.

I think so, but 100 posts seems a bit overboard.  Grin Nevermind, I'm almost at the mark.

ATTENTION PC GAMERS (OR ANYBODY INTERESTED IN PC GAMING)

If anybody, like myself, has previously had frustration and impatience with the art of modding so gave up completely, I encourage you to try Vortex - modding made easy.

https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/1

(FYI modding = modifying a game to improve it whether it be for cheats, better graphics, bug fixes etc).

Vortex automatically picks up on "mod conflicts" (where two mods are incompatible and don't work in games) and sets the mods in the correct loading order.

It's only in Beta stage but so far it's running smoothly for me, no dramas. I am having a blast with Fallout 3, which, without mods, is quite bland and outdated.

Nexus has a list of games with mods available for them.

P.S be careful. Scan files before downloading, etc.
