In this case, I am with the conservatives.  I do not believe in assisted suicide.  We now have good palliative treatment available, I think we ought to address the issues of delivering that to those who needed in a timely matter first, and then we talk about Euthanasia.



We can always cherry-pick worst case scenarios.

If the suffering of the vast majority is alleviated by voluntary euthanasia - then so be it. They should not be denied this humane consideration because a tiny minority will be pressured by relatives or because they feel they are an unacceptable burden upon society.
