And throw raw rubbish straight into your wheelie bin? That's gonna stink like hell in the warmer weather, as well as attracting flies and vermon. No thanks. whats wrong with washing your bin out once it's been picked up? I'm gonna bet you already get flies and vermin attracted to your bins, bags or no bags No flies on me. If I started throwing raw rubbish into my bin, it would be a different matter though. There's no way I'm ever gonna do that. Everything is bagged. I have to admit I have the same issue with worrying about flies entering into my wheelie bin, I've found the ingenious solution of shutting the damn lid on the thing, so flies can't get in. Not sure what state you live in, but that doesn't work in Perth. You mean the flies are strong enough to lift the lids? I mean the lids aren't airtight, thus allowing the smell to escape and attract flies. Do you honestly throw raw garbage into your bin - food scraps, bones, tissues, etc? I find that absolutely disgusting, ... sorry. Yes, I do, thats what a bin is for. Throwing rubbish into. so how do you go on cleaning your green bin....soap and water...I find just using the hose doesnt do it for me and I bag my garbage.l whats your answer?.. Gotta get down and scrub it.... I use washing stuff first and then a de-smeller, and wash it all out with the hose... oh, the prawn heads and fish scraps.... mama mia..... enough to turn the head of a Vietnamese fish sauce manufacturer on that island in the middle of the Mekong that nobody else visits.... the eyes are the first to notice.... Such an unnecessary waste of water
