The Austrian coalition
Oct 18th, 2017 at 6:52am

Heinz-Christian Strache, leader of likely coalition partners FPO, has previously said: "we do not need an upper limit, we do not need a halving of an upper limit, we need a zero migration limit. In fact we need minus migration".

The FPO is likely to seek a complete ban on Islamic political activity as a condition of its participation in a coalition. They have spoken of laws similar to those banning Nazi political activity as they view Islamism as being equally fascist in outlook and aims.

Meanwhile the AfD Bundestag leader Gauland has spoken of Austria under a new coalition govt as being a "massive bulwark" against future Islamic migration into Germany.

Know the enemies of a civil society by their public behaviour, by their fraudulent claim to be liberal-progressive, by their propensity to lie and, above all, by their attachment to authoritarianism.

As if that's going to happen. Germany is a manufacturing exporter with an ageing population. Of course it's not going to stop immigration.

That's a promise.

In the fullness of time.
It took many years in the last three occasions but the job was done.

You're thinking of Switzerland, dear boy. They have those little bells around their necks.

An easy mishtake to make.
