      The curtain will come down but the damage has been done, the story has been told.

      Those who come after us will once again have to risk their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honour to bring back the Republic that this generation has timidly frittered away due to white guilt and political correctness..."

      ...and yet another civilization bights the dust? Only we can prevent this but it needs to be done NOW!!!

Granted, it would be a 'LAWLESSNESS', in the form of society choosing to 'make legal', activities that were recently and previously illicit.

I am not sure USA is the utopia that you claim it is. The health care system is non existent for the poor and the disadvantaged. And there is a growing sense of erosion of the middle class - an issue that is alot more complicated than just jobs. But it was sold well by President Trump that all this problem would go away if he gets elected. Well, these people, I am afraid are going to be very disappointed.

Even the greatest champion of right wing politics - Winston Churchill once said this about universal health care:

“The discoveries of healing science must be the inheritance of all. That is clear: Disease must be attacked, whether it occurs in the poorest or the richest man or woman simply on the ground that it is the enemy; and it must be attacked just in the sane way as the fire brigade will give its full assistance to the humblest cottage as readily as to the most important mansion….Our policy is to create a national health service in order to ensure that everybody in the country, irrespective of means, age, sex, or occupation, shall have equal opportunities to benefit from the best and most up-to-date medical and allied services available.”

Mind you, this comes from a person who believes that socialism (not just communism) is incompatible with human society.
