What I find astonishing is the fact that almost all police forces in urban areas in the USA consist of about 30% ex-military. LA would be the same.
Once the bangs started, I find it hard to believe that no-one said, "bugger this, we're going in."
Lots of those guys are looking for the 'main chance'.
The least they could expect would be a posthumous MC, or, if they survived the assault, a hero's thanks.
Why the wait, the delayed response?
thats a funny thing to want them to do..
our streets like a war scene no thanks even gun happy Amerika wouldnt buy that idea....
every nut case would be ready for the charge anyway..... we have no idea what goes through the minds of those who do this....they spend many many hours planning it...they live and shop normally no one ever suspects.. ..
they are not trained soldiers who will eventually face another trained soldier.. who now wears a Police Uniform..
they are only ever discovered after the act
