No clues yet. Just that his brother said he no political or religious leanings and he was just a regular guy.

Something went wrong, anyway.

Apparently he was living with a Queenslander... That'd be enough.

Your powers of observation have skittled me.  Tongue

I'm waiting for Dr. Phil to inform us ...  Smiley

I know, right? It's like, i notice how something was wrong with the dude and there's no point trying to blame something he may or may not have been thinking about, yeah?

Interestingly, i apply the same diagnostic criteria when the murderer is a Muslim. Or in some way tinted.

33,000 people die every year from guns in the USA.

That's 90 people per day!

The Yanks need gun control laws now.

Ain't gonna happen.

Unfortunately you are correct!

Yes - 58 people died in Las Vegas & another 90 would have died elsewhere -
Trump won't do anything buy say prayers.

Firstly, he can't do anything but pray for those affected by this illegal use of a firearm (or firearms)......period!

President Trump, along with every governmental representative, every officer of the law, every judge...etc....is  sworn by oath to "..... preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Their first obligation is to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States in it's entirety......that's first & foremost.....

They must then, by oath, preserve, protect and defend the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.

The President is not permitted, by solemn oath, to choose which parts of the Constitution he preserves, protects and defends.......agree or disagree, he must defend it all.

American People will never permit......& the government governs solely by the consent of the American People.....they will never permit their government infringing upon their Constitutional Right to keep & bear arms.

With that said, the weapon or weapons used in this massacre are already banned.......they are already illegal. Laws already exist making the automatic weapon used illegal.

Americans, as should we, already know that they can't legislate sanity......the mentally ill, who are yet to be detected & diagnosed as such, unfortunately don't glow iridescent green.....criminals don't obey the law.....laws are merely words on paper.......& proof of this is the area where the victims were shot, was a "GUN FREE ZONE"......

Freedom & Liberty has a cost......in this case a high one, but life goes on......Americans will overcome their sorrows once again, & march on as they always have......

PS.....in Israel this wouldn't have happened.....all baggage is checked by trained hotel staff before people are permitted to go up to their hotel rooms....

How easy would that have been in Las Vegas?

It seems like you as all those useless politicians like Trump
have got carried away with lofty sounding words
that were written before machine guns were even invented.

Fools - all of you.

How would you have stopped him in Las Vegas? ......see my amended post, which now includes:

In Israel this wouldn't have happened.....all baggage is checked by trained hotel staff before people are permitted to go up to their hotel rooms....

Israel - off topic.

So!

Let's now ask WHY ...

1. It took over an hour to get the police to be at the assailant's door.

2. WHY in such a crowded place as the Vegas Strip with its hotels and casinos crowded around it NO measures had been taken to ensure a heavily-armed permanent militia was on hand 24/7 to respond to a terrorist threat?

Heads will roll - and for good reason.

The Keystone Kops did the best they could under the circumstances, but what was obviously missing were in-house 27/4 heavily-armed squads in every hotel and casino along the Strip. It's not as though those places couldn't afford it.

There'll be heaps of sackings over this.

It was highly predictable that the Strip would eventually be targetted by a nutter.

An armed squad should have been able to access the 32nd floor in minutes, and neutralise the assailant. Not rocket science.

Every one of these hotels and casinos have a score of security staff in their employ ~ but not even half-a-dozen others specifically fitted out and armed to respond to a situation like this.

Pathetic.

Even a rocket-launcher from outside at the widow would have cancelled this nutter's ticket.

I hope a Class Action is mounted against the Mandalay Hotel for its dereliction of duty and its slack security response.

Yes, okay codsey - don't give him more irrelevancies to play with. We're trying to discourage Gregg & John Smith -type bun fighting on this forum board.
