I would say that females live longer than males
because they orgasm 'far' less than males (which is 'every time' basically). Look at those dirty old men like Geoffrey Edlestein - looking like washed up ragged old cuttlefish.

Especially in the middle-to latter part of life, an orgasm can be quite a drain on the system. Hell, last time I had one with a woman was 6 years ago down at Hanging Rock in the back seat of my car. Afterwards I went for a stroll up Hanging Rock and my legs were pretty shaky. Didn't know if I was going to make it. She was something though. A vampire, but quite something.
Haven't had one for a while since Mrs Palmer left me. She thought I was having affair at work as a Detailer a while back, where I had to do a lot of rubbing. 

Many cultures have described the orgasm as such. To be used only for 'pro-creative' reasons (especially with the male) and that 'seed' should not be wasted. From the stories of Gilgamesh to the texts of Ching - the essence of sex should be a reserved act of quality over quantity.
Many sports athletes abstain from sex before important games - such is the physical drain.
I reckon these days, it takes me a week to recover.
