I reckon a sin bin / penalty box could be a good idea.

Perhaps the offense/duration could also be listed Smiley

So treating members like school-kids is a good idea, or is it just a way to name, shame, and embarrass them for your own satisfaction?  Roll Eyes

I think my idea would work better    if they persist in their bad behavior  lock them out of almost all boards   like fd does in feedback....so they cannot reply until they learn  not to abuse......

very few go all over the forum so it wouldnt be hard to figure out where they do their worst work  and lock them out... for so many months.....the longer they play up the few boards they can reply in....

The only reason why that Name and Shame thread failed was because all of Aussie's and Groggy's posts weren't in there  Grin Grin Grin

Yep.
Even have a permanent listing of how many times they have been 'sin-binned' (24 hrs) and 'banned' (1 week).

It's a name & shame and might help them 'remember' for want of their forgetfulness.

I think my ban was for 3 years?

Gotta look after us naughty kiddies.

Maybe even have a few words as to why they were banned - like 'swearing', personal insult, stalking, flaming, etc.

I think the Sin Bin is a great idea.

We all need a 'naughty' room  Wink
