The kids are telling us that everyone on their Vote No team was a student BUT the protesters were not. They were mainly non students/imported gay activists. This wasn't reported!

Nothing to accept - ssm advocates have the same rigfht to marry under the rules, to someone of the opposite gender, as anyone else has. This is not a question of equality - it is a question of inclusion.

I, on the other hand, am now vanishing to take the disabled one to the swimming pool.. and drop my NO vote in the letterbox.

I was at Sydney Uni this week and walked past where all the student election stands were set up. The Christian stand was virtually empty, even the Chinese Panda stand had more people.

Reports are there were just a dozen NO campaigners. Shouldn't they be allowed to express their views?

If people are prevented from speaking to air their views what is the eventual logical progression?

Are you ok with this?

A spokesman for the Sydney University Catholic Society said that "vote no" campaigners were "physically assaulted, verbally abused and repeatedly shouted down".

We were told we cannot be on campus with such beliefs

Sydney Uni let that muslim from Hizb ut Tahrir who says muslims who leave Islam should be executed speak.

They don't tolerate Christians who don't want same sex marriage yet happily tolerate muslims who say apostates should be executed.

Let me be clear, 98% of people in this argument are reasopnable and rational on both sides. Its the 2% of idiots who as usual are getting all the coverage.

Disgusting, but it is still one against multiple instances of the left. Look at the woman who was sacked for her views today, look at the appalling treatment that Margaret Court and Pansy Lai have received, look at the violence that occurred at Sydney Uni against students having a peaceful campaign, look at what has happened to the Australian Christian Lobby, and then in the US look at the baker who was sued for $135,000 because she wouldn't bake a cake for a gay wedding.
