I don't find Mothra too bad at all.

I think it does her credit that she starts threads on subjects that have plenty of scope for discussion and diverse opinions.

Isn't that just called stirring the pot?

The trouble with mothra is she always wants to discuss pan-socialist ideas rather than sticking to the issues that are most relevant to Australia.  We all sympathise with the plight of the slave labour in Sri Lanka etc, but the reality for most of us here in Realityland is that we have no impact on that and little to no choice but to tolerate it - until this nation can stand on its own two feet again after ridding itself of all its social and economic evils that have held sway for forty odd years now.

Mothra is clearly intelligent, but lacking in (gasps) emotional intelligence.... and often feels that confrontation brings the best results... a bit like longie in that way - the way to negotiate is to tear their balls off, call them stupid or deranged or 'out of touch'** or whatever, and then dictate terms....

**I can assure you I am fully 'in touch' with issues - I just happen to disagree with the way many of them are handled and sold in the futile hope that a gullible community will continue to assist in putting on its own chains to benefit the 'inside' groups.

You shouldn't be like that Grappler.
Nobody asked or wants to know your opinion of Mothra.
You know what your mother used to say..if you can't....   !!!!???

Your opinions are often way outside MY comfort zone, but I respect you nevertheless.

Men are in a hard place, this is true.
I think that many men live lives of resentment and victimhood.
(as do women, they just generally handle it better, having had all of history to get used to it..)

Men have heard all their lives of their role in the world, and now, that is radically different in many ways.

For some men..responsibility and expectations never really held before are now weighing on their shoulders.

It is scary. It isn't YOUR world anymore. You have to share.
You have to GROW UP.
Inevitably those unable to adapt will fall by the way.

Actually, looking at the second highlighted segment, I seems that Emma is being very tongue in cheek over criticising me for critiquing Mothra.  I have a great deal of respect for mothra and feel she is a very caring person etc... but that is not the only thing that come into discussion of issues, and she is very selective.

I mean, the discussion of in-the-closet gay men being homophobic (a sideways suggestion that any Man who disagrees with a homosexual idea is homophobic and thus must be a closet gay etc - utter nonsense) is ludicrous, since such in-the-closet gays would be a tiny minority and have little to no impact on Gay issues.

As I said - the whole idea was to cast some mud around, as the gays etc love to do, by suggesting or insinuating the anyone on the 'opposite' side**, even if they are simply indifferent and couldn't give a damn, my dears - must be a closet homo.

As I said - utter nonsense.

** I've laid out for you before the fate of the citizens of the ancient spiritual capital of Viet Nam, Hue, in their pursuit of the 'Middle' or 'Third' Way of non-involvement in the civil war raging - the 'communists' slaughtered them and dumped them in roadside ditches for wanting to be neutral - under the concept that 'if you're not 200% with us, you are against us'....  again - utter nonsense ....

Interestingly Tad William's series of the angel Bobby Dollar and the eternal struggle twixt Heaven and Hell delves into the development of a Third Way .... of non-alignment with either......

the most common time for a man to kill himself is within the first year after retirement.
this is one of the key things to understand about the "narrow road to success".
you HAVE to maintain momentum
you HAVE to keep growing.

fat steve probably wont suicide. he is just a butt hurt little taker and he is in lower consciousness.

but someone who is in contribution (ie working and contributing) is getting joy and passion from this (even if he doesnt know this). the modern social conditioning tells him that "relaxing" and " retiring" will be a big reward and that work is "punishment".

WRONG.

relaxing and retiring and being all lazy are NOT a reward.
they will see you going down.
when a guy who is in a good place mentally starts to go down, he may become acutely mentally distressed.

dont buy into the groupthink narrative that you are going to retire and love becoming a taker.

if you dont find some passion and some reason to get up in the morning and keep contributing, you are screwed.

leave that sort of mediocre existence to fat steve, find yourself an area to contribute and NEVER LOSE MOMENTUM

There are two ways to look at being driven to suicide.

One is to beva pussy and give in, taking your own life.

The other, and my choice, is to take out that which drives you to this point.
If its too big, start small, destroy the tools, the mechanisms, the people involved.
If you get a chance, head for the top.
But never, ever give in.
idiotic.

Poor dear.
You just give in and go top yourself do you?

There is not one person on this planet more important or better than me.

And

I am the worst person I know

So everyone else is not worth thinking about.
People with severe depression cant somehow "will themselves out of it" you idiot. Its like saying people with cancer can will themselves out of it, both are illnesses. Every single one of your posts exposes you for what you are, an ignorant loud mouth buffoon.

They dont.

But some are afflicted with this illness.
Some are politically motivated
Some are themselves confused
And the rest just go with the flow.

Well - Rugby IS the game they play in Heaven... so you can't blame some men for wanting to score between the Pearly Gates ...... mind you, those are not the pearly gates I was thinking of.....

My views are like Rugby - on the ball and happy with the open field or the ruck ...... it's genetic - my son and I both love playing Number 7..... but my lucky number is 5..... I've played wing, fullback, centre, flanker and second row.... open side flanker is my favourite spot... fast off the mark and terrifying to opposing number 10s.... they'd better be quick to offload that ball one way or the other... once dominated a game by terrorising that number 10 and all he did all day was kick it quick.... hopeful... also charged down a kick with my face - out of it on the ground and one of our guys scored off my face shot...... I was seeing angels if not stars which proves Rugby is played in Heaven, don' cha think?

Some say it proves that I'm crazy, but what cares I for high praise?
