Don't know, never been there.

Have tried to.

The North East area generally, where the Snowies drop down into the Murray. God's own country.

Know the enemies of a civil society by their public behaviour, by their fraudulent claim to be liberal-progressive, by their propensity to lie and, above all, by their attachment to authoritarianism.

Heard so many good things about Tassie.
Except 'work' opportunity.
Seems a beautiful place.

To bloody cold. Ocean temp barely get over 17 in summer, briefly and more like 12 - 14 most of the year

Ah yes. But that's where a Drysuit comes into it.
Tasmania also has the 'world's best' Commercial Diving Academy. Hobart & Fremantle CDA's are considered the Yale/Harvard - Cambridge/Oxford of the Commercial Dive Industry.
Strangely, Albury was the 3rd best until they retired.

Would be excellent diving down Tassie. Those giant Kelp Forests ...or what's left of them, due to a massive temperature change.
