Personally, I don't give a stuff about SSM.

I don't even believe in marriage. If you need to make public vows and a law to maintain a relationship you shouldn't really be in it in the first place.

What I dislike is the intimidating bully tactics of the trolls in social media.

How dare Folau have a personal opinion....off to the Gulag with him.. Sad

What would the Gays do - if the verdict came out a unanimous NO?

Would they froth at the mouth and rant words of bitterness and hatred (just like the Media does with Trump)?
Would they riot in the streets like the Rednecks do?
Would there be mass suicides in the name of emotional blackmail?

Or would they just 'tough it up' and accept that their position on the field is the Reserve Bench?

Anybody read about that, or the reports written when things cooled down? Australia is hardly unique, and there are lessons in the Irish experience. I believe it is our government's intention that the SSM debate here be as divisive as possible.
