POLICE hold grave fears for a Wagga Wagga woman who has been missing for almost a month.

Police say 27-year-old Allecha Suzette Boyd was last seen at a supermarket on Gurwood Street, Wagga Wagga, early on the morning of Thursday, August 10.

Her family and police hold serious concerns for her welfare as her disappearance is said to be out of character.

Ms Boyd is described as being caucasian in appearance, 165-175cm tall, of medium build, with long brown hair and green/hazel eyes.

Police have been told she may have travelled to the Coolamon area later that day.

Strike Force Amias comprising detectives attached to Wagga Wagga Local Area Command has been set up to investigate her disappearance.

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate Ms Boyd. Anyone with any information on her whereabouts or who sees her is urged to ring triple-O or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

I sincerely hope she turns soon- some of them deliberately lose themselves as well- either way I hope she is safe- the local police seem like they are onto it that said-

not good at all- she was in a lesbian relationship so there may have been jealousy as a motive- not to mention she was a very good worker in her new job it is said- so it may be work related as well- a month is a long time- too damned long

Yes it is odd- missing persons go missing for far longer because the trail goes cold by the time it is even begun to be investigated- especially with kids and this young woman is 27 with a good sensible head on her shoulders- that she left her purse and phone behind is a big red flag- we need better policing with much quicker response times

MISSING: Allecha Boyd was last seen on August 10

Police are analysing several items found during a state forest search for missing woman Allecha Boyd, but say nothing significant has been found.

Wagga Crime Manager Detective Inspector Darren Cloake, was keen to stress that the items found in Lester State Forest were not of major significance, however they are being analysed.

“Investigators did take a number of items that will be subjected to further examination to determine their evidentiary value and relevance to this case,” Detective inspector Cloake said.

Earlier this week, police released images of a green and silver Subaru Outback they believe missing woman Allecha Boyd may have been using on the day of her disappearance.

The vehicle is believed to have travelled from Wagga to Coolamon on Thursday, August 10

So nothing significant has turned up- it looks ike she might be dead- she is not a child being held captive- if she were alive she woud have let someone know by now- very worrying indeed- so they are looking into the Lester State Forest- sounds so much like the Ivan Milat murders- well not exactly but what a brutal creep he turned out to be- missing person crimes always so horrible

POLICE investigating the murder of Melbourne retailer Karen Ristevski have moved to silence shocking claims made by a longtime friend of the dead woman’s family.

The claims relate to the way Ms Ristevksi died, how her body was transported to its bush grave and include a bizarre reference to a shopstore dummy.

Anthony Cefala told news.com.au that he and Ms Ristevski’s stepson Anthony Rickard were desperate for an arrest in the case, which remains unsolved seven months after Ms Ristevski’s badly decomposed body was found between two fallen logs at Mt Macedon in Melbourne’s northwest.

Mr Rickard is the estranged son of Ms Ristevski’s husband Borce Ristevski, who has been named by police as a suspect in his wife’s death. Mr Ristevski has maintained his innocence.

Relatives on Ms Ristevski’s side of the family have been complaining about Mr Cefala’s interest in the case for the past two weeks, fearing he may derail the investigation with his allegations.

Mr Cefala and Mr Rickard have made further claims to news.com.au relating to the manner of Ms Ristevski’s death.

Mr Rickard confirmed to news.com.au that he had agreed to allow Mr Cefala, a friend of more than a decade, to act as his spokesman while he was engaged in defamation action against Channel Nine over what he says were false claims that he demanded $200,000 to tell his story.

Mr Cefala said it was his understanding Ms Ristevski was strangled and then placed in the boot of her black Mercedes SLK coupe and driven to Mt Macedon. Police have so far not released her cause of death.

The two men have also made the bizarre claim that a mannequin was placed in the car’s front passenger seat during the alleged transportation of the victim’s body.

When pressed to explain how they were privy to that information, Mr Cefala claimed “we do have the evidence” but did not provide proof.

On Friday he told news.com.au in a text message that the “evidence” had “already been provided to the cops two weeks ago”. There is no suggestion either Mr Cefala or Mr Rickard had any involvement in Ms Ristevski’s death

http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/nsw/teenager-charged-with-murder-of-wagga-...

A NINETEEN-year-old Wagga Wagga teenager has been charged with the murder of a 27-year-old woman who had been missing since August.

Chef Allecha Suzette Boyd, the cousin of Collingwood AFL star Will Hoskin-Elliott, was last seen in the township of Coolamon in August, 50km northwest of Wagga Wagga.

Strike Force Amias yesterday raided a 19-year-old man’s home on Gurwood St in Wagga and seized a “loaded shortened rifle”.
He was charged with murder, possess unauthorised prohibited firearm, possess ammunition without a permit, not keep prohibited firearm safe and breach of bail.

Detectives had been investigating the woman’s disappearance since August but now believe she met foul play. The man was arrested and refused bail. He will appear at Wagga Wagga Local Court today.

Investigations are continuing and detectives are scouring nearby bushland to locate Allecha’s body.

The charges come after Ms Boyd’s sisters Rhiannon and Tammara made an emotional plea for people to come forward with information.
“There’s been no access to her bank account and nothing to say she has any source of income,” her sister Rhiannon told The Daily Telegraph at the time.

“I’m scared she could be dead somewhere or someone could be hurting her somewhere.

“I just want my sister to come home … she is not even 28 years old.
This doesn’t happen, now six weeks has gone on, the unknown is scary.”

Police have been scouring nearby bushland for Ms Boyd’s body.

Ms Boyd worked as a chef at the Farmers Home Hotel in Wagga Wagga.

She was living with a friend in Lake Albert in the lead-up to her disappearance on Thursday, August 10.

Police believe she was traveling in a green and silver Subaru Outback which dropped her off at Coolamon at 1.30pm. The vehicle has been seized by police.

Detectives are pleading for anyone with information to come forward.

wow a development- a 19 year old man charged well how do they know he murdered her if they haven't found her body yet- must have been deep suspicion pointed in his direction or maybe  they are desperate for a lead in this case and sometimes they just grab anyone to make it look like they have a clue-sorry but cops do that sometimes- not fair if they have done this to him at 19 yrs old- or any age for that matter

no they have been very quiet- but sounds like we have movement now though- doesnt bode well for the 19 yr old- they have their  lead - and they have decided she has been murdered by the way it reads - but wait and see
