Brian Ross is a good example. He claims that he has no right or even ability to criticise other nations or religions.

John would you also argue that it is OK to criticise Nazism but not Nazis?

Sure. I don't care that Hammer believes in white supremacy. As long as he doesn't try to shove his beliefs onto others, he can pray to Hitler all he wants

So you think it is wrong to criticise Nazis?

I don't think anyone is beyond criticism, as long as the criticism is justified.

Is it justified to criticise someone who insists Hitler is God's messenger on earth?

no, not in that case. He can believe the dog poo on his shoe is a messenger from god if he wants to. However if a nazi wants to preach hate, than criticise away.

What if a Nazi preaches his love for the Jews liberated by the final solution?

Or that it is important to be polite and civilised while making glue?

you can criticise them for making glue to your hearts content FD. It's rather simple, criticise them for what the individual says or does, not for what he believes.

So we should refrain from criticising Nazis until they actually do something wrong, or openly reveal their hate?

FD understood it. And he's not that sharp. You often have to tell him the same thing over and over and over again and he still doesn't get it. If he got it, why didn't you?

If you can't meet the work requirements - tough luck.

Being legally entitled to marry does not mean that your employer should sanction your particular style of marriage, particularly in a religious institution.  I'm sure the same would apply to polygamists etc...

Polygamy is illegal. Marriage isn't.
What's next. If a women falls pregnant, outside of marriage, she should be sacked?
