How can somebody work for the church and be homosexual? It's against what they believe.

it's not a question of whether they can be homosexual so you haven't even got that excuse. They already employ homosexuals. It's only if they marry their partners that it becomes a problem.
I think this is another case of the church trying to influence the vote on gay marriage.

If the person they already employ does his job properly, what has it to do with them if they  marry their boyfriend?
Would you employ a white nationalist?

you're not listening. They already employ gays. They apparently don't have a problem with that.

As to your question, if you did your job properly and didn't preach your racism on the job, yes, I'd give you a job.
What about gay people preaching on the job in a churchy job?

DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT THE CHURCH ALREADY EMPLOYS GAY PEOPLE? the debate is not about employing gay people you doofus.
You are making a uniform judgement of all churchy workplaces. Many churchy employers won't employ gay people.

Many as in Sydney's St Vincent Hospital.
Yet I know they do.
A major hospital is different to working for a church.

It's a Catholic Church hospital.

These are the people the catholic brainstrust want to sack ... for marrying their partners.

I'm glad I've had next to nothing to do with Catholicism.

I don't understand why Islam is such a protected species while it's open season on Christian based religion.

who said islam is protected?

ohh for buggers sake .... just how big a fool are you? Have you even read the OP?
the topic is about the church threatening to SACK staff that marry their gay partners. They can't SACK them if they aren't working there. Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Not all Christin workplaces employ gay people. It's just a fact muppet. Try joining a church group if you take it up the wizzbang.

who said all christian workplaces employ gays? and how is it even relevant to the topic?

do you hear voices when you're alone at night?

rubbish. You confuse criticism of Islam, with criticism of muslims. The religion is fkked up just as bad, or worse, than any other religion. That doesn't make all it's followers terrorists.

Brian Ross is a good example. He claims that he has no right or even ability to criticise other nations or religions.

John would you also argue that it is OK to criticise Nazism but not Nazis?

Sure. I don't care that Hammer believes in white supremacy. As long as he doesn't try to shove his beliefs onto others, he can pray to Hitler all he wants

You know that comment makes no sense.

There is a very long list of reasons to criticise muslims, and producing an inordinate amount of terrorists from their small population is but one.

The fkked up beliefs is one area, their behaviour based on these fkked up beliefs is yet another line of criticisms.

For instance, this is the behaviour that derives from islam.

Poofters and Dykes are free to marry, they can go to the registry office sign the paper and marry each other no one objects to this.

I don't see anything wrong with priests and churches refusing to marry same sex couples, its against their beliefs.

Or are the beliefs of the LGBT community above all other beliefs....?

no, not in that case. He can believe the dog poo on his shoe is a messenger from god if he wants to. However if a nazi wants to preach hate, than criticise away.
