Crocodile is VERY bland!

If you want flavor—try camel!

I'll try and do that: the crocodile was a bit bland now you remind me of it!

I suppose I was thinking you just put a million sauces with it but yeh I suppose you're right!

**McCroc-sauceTM to be more specific but, yes, ... I promise to digress approximately now  Grin Grin Grin

I dunno, have eaten croc 2-3 times, bland!

Makes it a good base in a seafood soup/stew/gumbo etc: neutral flavored but soaking up all the other flavors.

Sounds right: I only had it once for my thirtieth... I told my friends let's go eat the coat of arms for my birthday.... there just happened to be crocodile there aswell  Grin Grin

But, yeh,... I do remember it as blandish! I was just pleased I didn't hate it.

had a trio of croc, emu and roo skewers last night, from a street food van. My favourite was the emu. Croc wasn't bad but I'm not sure if that was the meat or the sauce they put on it.

Gotta agree Jovie, camel is the best of all the meat available in Aus. We have a stir fry place down the road and have camel, buffalo, emu, roo and Ill always go for the old dromedary straight up.

Get rid of the cattle and run camels instead.

As well as the great taste I love the idea of eating a feral pest that is destroying desert ecologies!

Could we feed a camel to the croc, then eat the croc?

Very good idea.
Here in the states we can buy imported Kangaroo burgers from Australia.
Trump doesn't allow import  of crocodile meet to protect US economy.

I had a croc meal in the Barossa valley, crunch down on it once and you think fish, the second time you think chicken and so on.

Was ok.
