Is Murray Trumble a criminal?
Aug 16th, 2017 at 7:04am

Most would agree that an employee of a criminal organization is, by definition, a criminal. Some would object that he may be an unsuspecting patsy, just an unsuspecting victim. Fair enough; but surely a senior manager of an international criminal organization is undoubtedly a criminal. But what is a criminal organization? Well, how about one that has been fined millions of dollars for proven criminal activities.

Goldman Sachs has been fined, not millions, but billions of dollars for criminal activities spanning nations and decades, in spite of which these fines are only a small percentage of the profits they earned; so it's a hugely successful criminal organization, highly influential, well respected, and sounder than ever since paying its fines and devising even more successful schemes for which it will undoubtedly we fined in the future - just another cost of doing business these days.

Murray Trumble was Chairman and Managing Director of Goldman Sachs Australia before becoming Prime Minister of Australia. Put it to any Dinkum Ozzie that their Prime Minister is a highly successful international white collar criminal and, no matter what their political persuasion, they'll probably balk at the idea. "Well, I don't like him, but ..."

Which is why he changed his name to Malcolm Turnbull: to avoid the stench of his past.

But then that bonehead Trump went and gave the game away.

Quelle malchance!!!
