They can sign such a legal contract any time.... now tell me WHY the rules on marriage, which is an issue outside of that legal contract, should be changed to suit.

Marriage is not ONLY a 'legal contract' - if it were so then the rules would be far more binding in terms of misuse or abuse of the contracted relationship... marriage is a commitment for a future together for better or worse, and is currently between a man and a woman for purposes of family etc.....

WHY should this be changed? What pressing reasons are there to change it?

Perhaps marriage between men and women should be a legal contract.. that way men would stand to have more rights.... Huh

One of my good friends is a self confessed homosexual.
Why he is that way we dont know.
But he lives with a woman who he dearly loves and who loves him back.
He is loyal to her and they both recognise his illness for what it is.
But he has found this woman meets so many of his emotional needs far beyond anything he had living with men.
Will he ever be cured?
Who knows
But he is trying because he has found love.

Now, you should see the disgusting hatred and vitrol from his once "gay friends"
Simply because he now loves a woman.

You want to see true bigotry, true hatred and true jealousy?
Observe gay people.

And gay people are “coming out” more and more and now can do so without the shame and embarrassment and hatred to them that used to happen earlier.
