Don't worry China is going gang busters with their capitalist enterprises

They want Jong un banging on with his Nuclear aspirations like they want a hole in the head

The secret agenda may be that Donald Trump will take care of North Korea whilst China takes a powder

Have you notice that China has been silent as a tomb through all this

China has over 200,000 troops on the border with NK.

They are there to invade if given the order.

Actually China might want this -
some extra free territory for China & with the blessing of the USA.

Everybody wins - even the NK people
as they live under a tyranny.

I do not think the Chinese even want to think about war in North Korea.  It is a very poor country, the agriculture infrastructure was largely destroyed during the last Korean war, and still not recovered after decades of sanctions.  There are alot of starving people who will turn into refugees.  If you think the Syrian migrant crisis in Europe is big, then this is another matter.

We are looking at literally millions of refugees without food, or shelter.  The 200k or so troops on the boarder would be barely enough to keep order.  How would China hope to feed all these people?  And this is one end of the boarder.  On the other side, people will stream into South Korea - probably not across the land, but cross the sea to South Korea.  That is going to have an enormous economic and social impact on South Korea.  And Japan will not be spared either.  So all of sudden, you have China, Korea, Japan all going down at the same time.  The world economy will suffer, in particular Australia would be finished.

On the contrary, China will want a North Korea there to act as buffer to USA.  If North Korea goes down, and South Korea takes over, US will build a military base in North Korea in no time.

China is paradise compared with North Korea.

A life long Labour supporter?

The reality of this is that any country with even short term foresight policies would opt for killing Kim Jong Un over military options any day. The problem being is who could they get to kill someone so well protected that you might need to see military action as a diversion whilst undertaking the assassination?

Ah.. so solly.. Great Leader die when missile test go wrong.... all engineers now refuse hot chai until absolved from blame... fortunate no other person killed... but Glorious Leader lamented deeply... never see his like again...

A better analogue would be this.  After Jong Un saw Saddam and Gadafi got eaten alive by the tiger after they try to fend off the tiger with a stick.  He decided in order to survive, he needs a really big gun.

You're wrong.
The population of NK is a drop in the bucket compared to
the population of China.

China would love to have some more territory.

I believe what you are saying is not realistic.

The population of NK is still 25 million +.  And that means 25 million hungry and poor to feed.  China is a third world country, significant amount of its population are still under poverty.   Pollution, land erosion, deficit in agriculture are real problems.  And not to mention, there is very limited infrastructure in North Korea.

Second, you failed to understand that there is significant differences between Chinese and Korean.  The Chinese had throughout history tried to invade and occupy Korea, but all failed.

Third, what about South Korea.  Despite the differences, South Korea still consider North Koreans Koreans.  And hope one day that their country will be whole again.   They are NOT going to sit back, and let other foreign powers - USA + China to make a deal behind their back, and give North Korea to China.  This is just simple absurd.

Fourthly, it is the US policy to contain China.  Giving away North Korea will have serious - very serious implications on the securities for both Japan and South Korea.   Even now, North Korea have the capability to bomb Guam.  Imagine if the Chinese takes over North Korea, what can they do to Guam?

Lets just say, it wont happen.

We'll see who's right very soon.

I am sure China will invade NK.

I think it's a deal that Trump has done behind closed doors.

Kim Jong Fatty, schooling the Generals.

It's all part of the Cult of Personality: Kim is most intelligent and greatest human being on earth.

You know North Koreans believe that Kim Il-Sung, the founder of North Korea, could walk on water.

Donald Fatty, schooling the Generals.

It's all part of the Cult of Personality: Donald is most intelligent and greatest human being on earth.

You know Americans believe that Trump senior, the founder of USA, could walk on water.
This has been going on long before Trump. North Korea was always next on the list after the yanks buttered up the Shia in Iraq and got in the good books of the Iranians.

Unless Korea is a 13 year old girl, it's not on Trump's list.

Donald will do nothing about Kim - he's too much of a coward.

The US military establishment is a lot more powerful than Trump.

Indeed.

I said Donald will do nothing.

Donald is a just another bluffing real estate agent.

totally agree with that statement

Why would China want that? NK serves as a perfect buffer between China and the US. The Chinese like that just fine.

Thanks Agnes,
I know I'm right.
It's all been worked out behind the scenes.
It's the only thing that makes sense.
