The Chinese were the first to waterproof their umbrellas for use as rain protection. They waxed and lacquered their paper parasols in order to use them for rain.

August 16, 2017: Relevant data you should be cognizant of these days, especially if you have children that play outside in the direct sunlight or you work outside during the daylight hours. These numbers are more important than the outside temperature.

If you take your family to a theme park for vacation or just for a day make sure you check the UV for that area and assume its higher and a umbrella should be mandatory as to provide portable shade and protection from harmful UV (Ultra Violet Radiation).
Also, the Sun is no longer orange like it was when I was a kid growing up...it is white, has profoundly changed.

There appears to be radiation literally raining down upon Earth. In several new YouTube videos shot in the United States and Canada, radiation-detecting Geiger counters are shown buzzing at an alarming rate when aimed at wet grass and puddles shortly after it has rained.

Following a recent downpour in Toronto, one man detected thousands of radiation particles per minute in the area around his house, telling YouTube viewers, "Where this is coming from, I don't know. Fukushima? They're spiking the clouds with radioactive isotopes to do climate modification? I have no idea, but this is ridiculous."

Really - do you have any evidence?

Some say that it's because of Fukushima.

I have a fact - fresh rain water is radioactive.
The water coming out of the taps is not as radioactive.

Tap water is about 40 to 50 cpm ( counts per minute)
& fresh rain water is 200 to 350 cpm.

Radon has a half life of 4 days so that would explain it I suppose but
where is this Radon coming from?

August 30, 2017: Relevant data you should be more cognizant of than the outside temperature. The numbers you see in this video being measured is "Electromagnetic Radiation". TEAM UV monitors these values everyday keeping a watchful eye on the protective shields of our atmosphere. If they ever begin to fail....we will know and so will you. Be safe out there.
