Ablegation

A sending abroad, or out of the way

(Haven't we all harboured such thoughts?)

Know the enemies of a civil society by their public behaviour, by their fraudulent claim to be liberal-progressive, by their propensity to lie and, above all, by their attachment to authoritarianism.

Quodlibetarian.

One who talks or disputes on any subject.
(Now who could that be around here?)

Grubstreet

Originally the name of a street in Moorfields in London, much inhabited by writers of small histories, dictionaries, and temporary poems; whence any mean production is called grubstreet.

George Gissing wrote a novel called New Grub Street, which I found very depressing.

(There must be a lot of Grubstreets around the world these days, but in the interest of impartiality I couldn't possibly say where)

Cynanthropy

A species of madness in which men have the qualities of dogs ???

(What qualities do dogs have? They like bones?
They lift their legs against any convenient object?)

In a time of universal deceit — telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

No evidence whatsoever it can be attributed to George Orwell or Eric Arthur Blair (in fact the same guy)
