Sh1t, the Keystone cops are nearly as bad as the army for losing weapons and ammunition, lucky that stuff isn't dangerous or some idiot could hurt them-self.  Smiley Smiley

Police are still searching for two bullets, after an officer's missing Glock magazine and 12 of the 14 bullets were found.

Police said the magazine and bullets were recovered on Saturday afternoon after they were handed in to the Rosewood Police Station by a member of the public.

It is believed the magazine fell out of an officers handgun during his trip on a work motorcycle between Brisbane and Ipswich on Friday afternoon.

Police thanked the public for their support so far.

Police are searching for a Glock magazine, containing 14 rounds of ammunition, that is believed to have fallen out of an officer's handgun somewhere between Brisbane and Ipswich on Friday afternoon.

The officer rode his work motorcycle from Tank Street in Brisbane City to Ipswich where he realised the magazine was missing about 4pm.

Police said he last remembered seeing the magazine about four hours earlier.

Extensive patrols had failed to find the missing ammunition and police have asked anyone who knows where it is not tamper with it and either call police immediately or hand it in to their nearest police station.

An internal investigation regarding the loss of the ammunition has begun.

Last week, Fairfax Media reported a Glock 22 handgun had either been stolen or lost from an Ipswich police station.

The weapon went missing some time between June 25 and July 18 from Yamanto police station. Police have been unable to find the missing weapon, despite extensive efforts.
