"In joint announcements with Apple, Facebook, Google, Microsoft and Mozilla, Adobe announced today plans to stop supporting the Adobe Flash Media Player in 2020.

The company took the decision that all the developer and user ecosystem was waiting for years. Flash Player has been riddled with security bugs in the past decade, and it's been the favorite target of malvertising and cyber-espionage campaigns for years.

I think they are just sick of having to update it in a cat-and-mouse game of hackers. Either way, Adobe sucks.
