Should public satire remain lawful in Australia ?

Q.
Should public satire, as a modus of [truthful] criticism, remain lawful in Australia ?

It is lawful, in Australia, at this moment, but....
Q.
Should it remain lawful, in Australia, to be able to publicly use satire and humour [i.e. ridicule] to [truthfully] criticise foolish or criminal behaviour, or, to [truthfully] criticise an evil 'religious' philosophy ?

Even when such public satire/criticism is deemed by the targets of that satire/criticism, to be wholly and deeply 'offensive' ?

e.g.
Do you remember all the hoo-har over that Bill Leak cartoon ?

Dictionary;
satire = = the use of humour, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people’s stupidity or vices.

Q.
How many of these following images could be 'safely' posted, on public forums in nations such as Turkey, or Malaysia, or Pakistan ???

In a time of universal deceit — telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

No evidence whatsoever it can be attributed to George Orwell or Eric Arthur Blair (in fact the same guy)

Here is some elaborate tapdancing from John Smith regarding a Victorian law that makes it illegal to 'act in a way that incites others to ridicule religion'. John claims to support the law absolutely, but also claims it should be legal to make fun of religious people. Now he has decided he has made himself perfectly clear and will not be answering any more question on the issue.

John also says he supports the law regardless of who is being charged, but he is not in any way contradicting himself when he says he will change his mind about the law if comedians get charged.
