Jul 23rd, 2017 at 9:18pm

he's not in good shape these days...

but I wanted to say (before he passes) that he's a great politician(for a labrat)...

he has always been genuine in what he believes

he's always genuinely put Australia first (IHO)

he's always had great inside intel because others trust him so much...

I just wanted to put that on record BEFORE he leaves this life for another..

I wish him well.... I genuinely like the guy  Smiley

This turd was Health Minister at one time in his alleged political career. He told us that less than 10c in every dollar was spent on trying to alleviate breast cancer. What did he do about it? Nuthin'.

What other ailments was the other 90c in the dollar spent on?

Colon cancer, prostrate cancer?

SIDS, providing ambulances for idiotic call outs (A man calls an ambulance because he’s troubled by excessive dandruff. A woman with food poisoning has hideous things coming out both ends. A distraught mother wants her small daughter’s cut lip seen to immediately. An older lady is feeling cold, even though she’s tucked up in bed.),beds for people bringing maladies into the country even though they are supposed to be checked and providing alleged refugees with health care (The childhood refugee program based in Harris St, neighbouring other refugee settlement services, has been operating for three months and has already seen 100 children. With the influx of refugees over the last nine months, the health service has expanded exponentiall) etc etc etc. There are plenty of maladies that soak up the other 90c.

So there is no money left to increase research into breast cancer. It can only be spent once.

You can also toss in the cost of interpreters in the health care system. Westmead Hospital has a sign saying in 23 languages. If you speak another language other than English interpreters are used and they cost between (hourly rate) AU$18.23 - AU$42.91. The dosh comes out of the health care dollar.

Richo and other "notables" including Kerry's offsider Trevor Kennedy and Ray Martin were involved in the Offset Alpine scam.
It was simple really, suddenly the Rivkin Report was spruiking a printing plant he had invested in as "...a great buy and drastically undervalued."

Rivkin outlayed a mere $3 million in borrowed funds for the shares. But this investment had another dimension.

Rivkin insured the plant for $53 million through his friend Rodney Adler's underwritten FAI. You see, Adler was also in on the deal.

Then one foggy Xmas eve the printing plant burnt down.

Accusations abounded but no-one was found guilty, including Richo, who authorities fortuitously discovered his share of the scam, $1.4 million, was socked away in an anonymous Swiss bank account.

All had made a killing and were apparently untouchable, although Richo had to resign from Parliament and eventually settle with Rivkin's "fiscal fiend", the ATO, for an undisclosed sum.

My point was that 10c in the dollar was and is a pathetic amount and the knight in shining armour Richardson did nuthin' to increase that amount.

Here's the challenge in the shape of a set of scales: one side is an interpreter who speaks Pashto and the other side is the challenge of breast cancer. Which one deserves more money at the expense of the other?
