I like it when I have something interesting to do.

I reckon using a theodolite would be interesting.

I like fixing things - mechanical, electrical & electronic.
I like sharpening: tools, knives & scissors -
anything to keep me busy.

Are you a handyman? Do you have a Hire a Hubby franchise?

Try to survive for 10 years on say $200K when you still have a mortgage to pay.
When you're over 60 -  no one will give you a job.
Centerlink will make you jump through hoops to
get a lousy $242 per week.

It's very bleak indeed for so many hard working Australians over 60.

Yes: hit the nail on the head - It's very bleak indeed for so many hard working Australians over 60.

Very many have had the Rug pulled out from under them just when they thought it would be ok, not great just ok.

The Govt. should offer assisted suicide for those over 60
who can't stand poverty anymore.

No.

Good move. I reckon naming your business Hire a Hubby would dissuade many male customers.

I got a 2nd quote for 1/3 rd the price from some proper tradespeople..

That's because the HAH guy has to give 1/3 rd of the money to head office.
SMH at people who guy a franchise.

What happens if a woman wants to buy a HAH franchise?

Maybe not 1/3 rd, but my wife's done tax returns for franchise holders that that have to kick about 25% back to the owners.
