Cheap wines regularly win awards and wine judges often cant pick cask wine from an expensive bottle. But carry on with the wine snob thing if it makes you feel good.

In one of the activists groups i was in back in the day, we decided it would be a good fund-raiser to sell bottles of Port.

Ended up drinking most of them down the docks at uranium shipments in the early hours.

Can't touch the stuff now ... even if it's quality .... which this wasn't.

I did get totally hammered on rum one day, way back in my Uni days (geology field trip in the Flinders.) Won’t touch rum anymore.
