Well that wouldn't be denigrating, that would be self evident and didn't he say today/yesterday somewhere he was leaving again? Perhaps there are others, umm, more suited. I guess that's up to FD but he wouldn't get my vote while I have a say. We've been through having him as a subforum mod, fail.

just a thought....not everyone is meant to be a mod.. some folks think it means standing by with a whip even down to what is discussed.... I find it a real invasion to be honest...the system at PA is quite good they only have LINES DRAWN in the political section the rest if pretty much up to the members.....

It is WAY past time for talking.

Fortunately, here and the US local communities are taking action, despite ditherers like Turdful and baboons like Trump.

One aspect of AGW frightens me more than the rest: the Himalayan ice sheet is retreating. The melt water from it waters a quarter of the worlds population, feeding rivers like the Ganges, the Yellow River and the Mekong.

If it retreats to the extent it cannot feed those seven rivers—India and China will likely go to war. Both are nuclear states. Um.

A co-mod would be the easiest solution, unless FD has mellowed in the last few years. Some moderators have come back after years of absence.

Nope. AGW is “proved” as much as anything that complex can be and I have no interest in discussing it further unless something interesting comes up. I have listed some areas that could be discussed, like bee colony collapse disease. Booby can keep posting his ice age nonsense if he wants. Lees can keep posting his denialist crap and obfuscation.

Meanwhile I will post some starter posts in the different areas I indicated.
