An amazing, wonderful place with lots of potential  but lots of problems.

In a time of universal deceit — telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

No evidence whatsoever it can be attributed to George Orwell or Eric Arthur Blair (in fact the same guy)

Politicians are like nappies; they need to be changed often and for the same reason.

There wasnt that big a one, was bigger in Tonga.

Besides, Australia isn't exactly guilt free in Timor.

I know that ..... but we have sunk some money in there.

Seems though it was all a ploy to get their oil/gas.

China are there for various reasons & one would be exactly the same as why they are in Tonga .....

to plunder their fishery.

Again, I didnt see it as being that big a presence. Many other countries have a bigger presence.

Happy is a relative term. No, and somewhat but there are issues.

Australia has cheated Timor and stolen their oil and gas. It's a disgrace.

I hope they are better off than they once were..  is it BIG issues  or just those that will take time.

The beer sucked but did the trick. Bintang TIger the occasional Heineken and a crap Portuguese stout.
