I don't care that she's black, or a woman or Muslim. It's that she mocked all the ANZACs who fought and died for Australia and New Zealand. Any true patriotic Aussie or Kiwi is rightly offended and disgusted by those despicable comments that she made. Wink

Its farcical to claim the moral high ground on behalf of 'conservatives' here matty. You lot have been mounting a vile campaign against her in which attacking her identity as both black and muslim have been front and centre. In regards to the anzac tweet, we know she has been singled out for special treatment because last year on Anzac ay a (white male) liberal MP shamelessly sought to exploit that sacred day for political gain - viz negative gearing. Were there the same howls of rage from the right? Of course not.

Quote:
Outlawing the enemy's uniform - hijab, islamic beard - is not depriving one's own people of their freedoms.

Jesus Christ, little fella, are you on drugs or something?

She didn't mock anyone.

Moreover, she didn't make any despicable comments.

You're a seriously deluded young boy.

Hey Gandy, ever heard of Scott McIntyre.
Instant dismissal, but don't let that spoil your narrative.
http://www.theaustralian.com.au/business/media/sbs-presenter-scott-mcintyre-sack...

Soccer reporter Scott McIntyre, who has a Twitter following of 30,000 people, shocked followers with a post which implied that Australians commemorating Anzac Day were “poorly-read ... drinkers and gamblers”.

He began his tirade about 5pm, calling Australia’s involvement in the World Wars an “imperialist invasion of a foreign nation”.

Later tweets read: “Wonder if the poorly-read, largely white, nationalist drinkers and gamblers pause today to consider the horror that all mankind suffered.”

How on earth can you compare what Yassmin said to that?

Easy for Gordon.

Start with some racism, mix in a generous serving of Islamophobia, and then top it all off with a sprinkling of misogyny.

Voilà!

Yes the conservatives sure hope so.

It is these dog acts that have disgraced the ANZAC's not what she said.

What is everyone's problem her Tweet?

Is it that she politicised ANZAC Day with a Tweet?

And if the appropriate course of action is her leaving the country?

I'm just trying to find the line of what is and isn't acceptable for tweeting about Anzac day.
