Some people say The Godfather is the greatest story ever told. I think it's this.

Cultural diversity.

If I show you a video of a bunch of white kids laughing as they stab an old man, does that mean Western culture is depraved?

Get real....

Are you that far king stupid?

I'm not doing any such thing. Although the Chinese are hard to beat when it comes to a history of cruelty.

Well said, but the liberal-progressive wankers don't want to acknowledge the difference.

When I was young, 'racism' was about a persons appearance, but then the Lefties conflated this with criticism of another's cultural practices, social values, and ethnic mentality so as to turn the criticism back onto the critic.

99% of Westerners would consider this to be delinquent behaviour perpetrated by a group of young sociopaths.

In China, animal cruelty is pandemic to the national culture. The attitude is one of ... "If it's not happening to me, then it's okay".

These were all fought against - not concurred with.

Except in Germany, Russia, most of Europe, Europe, the Middle-East where they occurred, Herbie.   The resistance in each case while noble was minor...

But they were defeated. As herbie says, fought against, not concurred with, as you do with every anti- western tyranny, especially islam.

The locals appeared to like them, Soren.   It was external forces which defeated them, not the locals.    Roll Eyes

On balance I like Vietnamese people, I lived their for 5 years, but their treatment of animals is barbaric. I've seen things many times worse than the above.

Judging a culture is all about ticks and crosses on the ledger and seeing what the balance is and as bad as the Chinese, Viets etc are on animal cruelty, their culture in my opinion is still in positive territory.
