Yes Lord Herbet.
We can separate Australia into different States - we can distinguish the difference between the 'Bludger' and the 'Battler'.

I missed out. It's not every day you can camp out for free in the middle of Sydney without getting harassed by drunk people. No wonder the campsite is so crowded.

Totally  blew it...plus you  get to write your parking  off as a tax deduction  and any camping  gear you purchase.

Oh well...always next year and I'm  sure the ceo's will ensure the homeless  are  all moved out without  all the fuss first like this year  Shocked

They'd be better off doing something positive like the local LJ Hooker crew. Once a month they do the bbqing and provide the sausages, chicken kebabs, etc. Some of their staff make cakes and they all put in the time to do it. On that day we just make the salads and extras to go with it.

Now that's a really cool thing to do

It is, it's also pretty good for us as we can make some really nice extras as we don't have to make the "meat" of the meal. We only have one BBQ so they bring another with them. I have two, I might donate one.

Everyone is welcome FD, it will cost them one dollar on any day other than the LJ Hooker day though. That day is free.

Yes Lord Herbet.
We can separate Australia into different States - we can distinguish the difference between the 'Bludger' and the 'Battler'.

1. The drunks and drug addicts.
2. The mentally ill.
3. Youths from chaotic and violent homes.
4. Youths rebelling against their parent's discipline in the home.
5. Petty criminals.
6. Homeless after being ejected by landlords for being arrears with the rent.
7. The chronically lazy.

I meant the free camping in central Sydney. I doubt they would eat the food. They bring their own sink.

CEO's camping out on the city's streets ~ what the hell does that achieve or prove?

If you want to make a donation to the soup kitchens, then just send money, but then again I can't even begin to understand what the hell charity has to do with it all when the churches are flushed with funds and Centrelink gives 100's of dollars per fortnight to these 'homeless people'
(sic)
.

The whole 'Homeless People's' industry is bullshit and a rort which wins the churches a fortune each year in grants from the government.

Perhaps an ignition point/incentive for those donations....via publicity.

There are real homeless people Herbert.  All over Australia.

Homeless women too, Aussie. How vulnerable would they be?

What all those Virtue Signalling ceo's could do if they really want to help the situation is petition the State and federal governments for funding to build designated hostelries to accommodate the homeless according to which categories they fall into.

Woman's refuges.
Rehab residences for the alcohol and drug afflicted.
Youth hostels for the kids whose homelife is too threatening and violent.
Residential 'colleges' where the disaffected can learn skills for the workplace.

etc.

Yup, and the CEO sleepout might just give them the insight and motivation to do so.

Pig's arse.

These sleep-outs have been going on for years.

What's really holding up any improvement for the homeless is that the churches and independent charities have a vested interest in keeping them on the streets so the government will keep giving them grants from which they skim off the top at a nice little profit.

There would be only a fraction of the homeless on the streets now if these church groups and profiteering independent charity groups had used their government grants to build or buy residential properties to accommodate these people decades ago.

If there were to be a Royal Commission of Inquiry into the 'Homeless People's' industry it would blow the whole deceitful business wide open to public scrutiny for the profiteering racket that it is.

I kinda agree with Lord Herbie here.

I remember the big Political Summit they had in Sydney (G20? was it called?) years ago, where (ras)Putin & Co turned up to take photos of Harbour Bridge & Opera House, etc.
Half of Sydney left by choice and the rest were basically pushed out of the CBD area. A couple of 'comedians' got busted for impersonating 'Arabs' I think? All the Homeless were suddenly 'gone' from the streets and placed in 'half-way' accommodations. The Police were extremely heavy handed in dealing with anyone. It was a very poor example of 'Police State' in action...
...when those Politicians should have gone to Canberra 'to do some work' and not have a sight seeing tour of Sydney.

After they were gone, all the homeless were kicked back out on the streets.
