OVER-ACHIEVERS infesting OZ
Jun 24th, 2017 at 6:47pm

I'm sick of it!

Australia has been infested by OVER-ACHIEVERS since the year 2000.

This country was a great place to live in.
It was never 'broke' - so why try to fix it by trying to make more money than we actually need (at the cost of a respectable self-sufficient population growth, that doesn't need waves of Boat People flooding in to fill the gaps)!?

I see Rugby League trying to beat Aussie Rules at its own 'club-level' Game.

I see each State live up to the Pauline Hanson Dream of One 'BORING' nation by trying to be just like each other.
I loved crossing the border into another State - for something completely 'different'. Now that was a Holiday!

Now we see Victoria with League and Casinos.
Sydney with Rules and Trams.
South Australia looks like a dry version of QLD and QLD looks like a humid version of SA.

There was a time when QLD cops could be bribed and SA cops would steal a kiss from your partner.
Tasmanian cops would make you marry into the family.

So many 'differences' that made this country 'stimulatingly' versatile and exciting.
But now every State looks the same and BigOl64 is whinging that Cape York Peninsula seeks independence from the rest of the State ...why? Because of the need for 'difference'!

I see the poor 'battler' Boguns of Victoria be put in the same basket as those 'bludger' Housos of NSW.

I see a Nation that is out of control and going for anything n' everything!
Over-Achievers are building high-rise apartments on Coastal fringes that would be better left 'wild and natural' for EVERYONE to enjoy.
Do you like going for a swim and to turn around to see someone hanging out their washing on their small porch or looking at you with binoculars, or some NIMBY staring at you for swimming on his part of the beach where his MacDonald Mansion sits>??? Huh

This is the Lucky Country ...but yet, we see people getting greedy and going for more than they deserve.
Pink Floyd's album 'The Division Bell' is ringing loud and clear to me right now.
People are aiming for 'too much' and it will have catastrophic consequences.
Sydney is out of control - nothing but a money-making SCAM set of systems in place to 'rip-off' everyone.

Remember when you could pitch a Tent anywhere around Uluru and just enjoy it for what it was.
Now its 'Rip Off Rock' where everything is controlled and even the Aboriginals cry "Don't Climb" ..."unless you pay us heaps!" (much like Invasion Day ...but we still claim our 'benefits' )

This country is a shemozzle of over-achievers making a simple thing more complicated than it needs to be.

Why?

I wish I could run away from it - but to where?
Maybe Tasmania is the last bastion of Australia as it once was?
Maybe New Zealand which, contrary to belief that it was a part of Australia, has had to put up with NSW stealing everything that it is.

Travel 3000kms across the border and I still think I'm in the same State.
Pauline Hanson - you and your 'One Nation' suck.
Under 'Federal' government - we have 'always been one', so why do with have to 'over-do-it-again'?   Roll Eyes

I fear - there is no return from this.
This country has lost its Golden Era for good.
