As for driving incidents while stoned that I will agree with. Most reports being from out-of-state drivers such as fat Texuuns and east coast idiots who have zero respect for Colorado state law.

is it the pot that causes it or is it that people who are disengaged from life tend to be

1 lacking in focus and therefore likely to have an accident
2 lacking in focus and therefore likely to smoke pot.

i think the type of person who smokes pot would be the type of person who doesnt set goals for themselves and doesnt expect much of themselves. the sort of person who lives in a sort of mental fog.
this mental fog is present before they hit the drugs.
so association may not mean causality.

if you are an awesome engaged confident cocky and aspirational noble rightard with a great life, you would be a great driver because you are fully alive and present and have a first class physiology.

if you are fat steve , durping around, hardly awake, eating your pizza with your fat wife....then all these things would make you a bad driver anyway, the pot is just another factor in many as to why you are a loser
