I did that.  when the roof was wrecked in a storm about four years ago, the d!cks who re-did it left some timber bits on the ceiling - had my left foot on a rafter, and seeing a piece of 3 x 2, thought - yep, rafter for right foot.!  WRONG - a piece of loose timber lying amongst the batts... right leg straight through.

Oh, well - meant I re-plastered all walls, installing insulation along the way, and re-did the ceiling. Bewdiful and warm in winter...

Not sure they're working at my age..... only bloke at my age who has bought a fifty foot yacht and plans to run it home before touring the world in it... maybe those balls are stretching their belief.... but I'll get there....

He's dreaming big alright... a week or two ago it was a 30 foot yacht 😳

I read a story about a policeman 👮 recently who had depression and ended up sailing ⛵️ around the world... brilliant story... can't recall the book right now.. let me know if you want the name of it and I'll do a search for you...

Never mentioned a 30 foot yacht... just the fifty footer with no mast but a fine engine... homeward bound... recall that a British SAS bloke rowed across the Atlantic....  something to do in one's spare time.
