Oh, here's a nice one for Marla-the-pain-in-the-butt ...

"The Republicans are up 4-0 in special elections since the inauguration and, while they are all in Republican strongholds, Democrats thought they were in with a shot.

"A special election in Atlanta, Georgia is the latest election victory for President Donald Trump and the Republican Party".

An 8 year run is quite possible for trump.

Global warming is now a tourist attraction

Global waffle is an everyday occurrence. Check out what has been going on for the last 20 years, we might as well call it global cooling.

Cooling?

More swelteringly hot weather (well, for the UK it is:)

Quote:
The mercury hit 34 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, making it the UK’s hottest June day since 1976. Parts of the UK sweltered for a fifth consecutive day in temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius before a cool change on Friday, creating plenty of fodder for media in a nation obsessed with the topic of weather.

France too:
Quote:
Temperatures in France hit 38 degrees Celsius this week, sparking weather alerts across the country.

Another heat record in what is, according to lunatics, idiots, and liars, a Cooling World™.

And the US, too, is setting heat records:
Quote:
An all-time record in San Diego County

The temperature hit 124 degrees on Tuesday in Ocotillo Wells — the highest reading ever recorded in San Diego County, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters said the reading was two degrees above the previous high of 122, which was recorded in Borrego Springs on June 20, 2016. That reading had tied the previous record high for the county, a figure also set in Borrego Springs.

“The desert has two seasons — hot and hotter,” said Mark Moede, a weather service forecaster. “But today, it was hottest.”

Misery in Palm Springs area

Palm Springs tied a record high of 122 degrees and Thermal broke the record for the day at 122 degrees.

Grape pickers in the Coachella Valley started before dawn, but by 9 a.m. the temperature had topped 100 degrees.

Hoax?

Any proof it is a hoax, ’Erbert? NASA/NOAA/MetOffice/BuMet/CSIRO etc etc are all lying are they? Or, much more likely from your posts, you don’t like thinking much so live by slogans instead in your lonely asbestos shack.

I will stick to science, thanks.

BTW: in Adelaide it is now too hot to grow the better type of bean in summer. But, hey, stick to not thinking if you like. Booby has decided to let someone else do his thinking for him. Weird but there you go!

You mean like that "science" you posted the other day that conflated isolated temperature records into heatwaves?

Like that "science" you posted the other day about record Arctic ice loss not realising they were talking about 2012?

French beans.

Was a delicious purple–podded bean but it just got too hot to grow it.

I found this out the hard way and it was mentioned on various gardening shows 10–15 years ago. Even growing the bean between rows of sweet corn didn’t give them enough shade. Even tomatoes now need double birdnetting over them the heat is so harsh. I have three 2.5m star droppers and two more no longer needed in the front, I will put them all in one patch then put double birdnetting over them and plant tomatoes (paste tomatoes mainly, one or two slicing tomatoes) under the netting.

Hmmm better get seeds and start the seeds next weekend.

And poor pathetic and gullible Booby thinks the globe is cooling  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

"Two types of fresh beans are grown, with production divided between the climbing or runner bean and the dwarf bean, which has a number of names, such as French, bush, snap or stringless beans."

"The main growing area for dwarf beans is Gingin and Broome, where beans are harvested by machine. Dwarf beans are also harvested by hand in Perth and the South-West. Production occurs throughout the year and demand is highest in the cooler months."

Must have been namby-pamby South Australian beans. Grin Grin Grin
